Normal galvanised steel provides some protection but sea water has a devilish way of “seeping” into cracks or crevices and ever so slowly your costly trailer will start to rust from the inner walls of the structure.

To prevent this inevitable and somewhat invisible damage we have formulated a highly effective protective coating which stops water penetration in its tracks. TrailerKote is UV stable, flexible and hydrophobic, yet extremely tough to withstand harsh treatment of the elements and fishermen.

Protection for the Elements

TrailerKote will protect steel from the harsh elements found at sea.

Trailers, whether boat trailers or any other type of trailer including shipping containers will benefit from this amazing protection.

Wherever steel is to be found, this coating will protect it. That may well be metal roof sheeting, I beams in a factory, or as an underbody stonechip for the 4x4 industry.

The principle of protection is to shield the substrate from damage and water or salt penetration. It must protect from the UV rays of the sun and it must remain flexible.

We can tint TrailerKote to any colour, but it comes standard as clear.
